Battery Operation

YourIHDalsosupportsbatterypoweredoperationforshortperiodsso

thatyoucantakethedisplaythroughoutyourhomeandexplorehowthe

useofdifferentappliancesimpactsyourenergyconsumption.(SeeQuick

ReadModesectionofUserManual.)



Before operating on batteries, the IHD must be plugged into

 120V AC

powerovernighttochargethebatteries.



Inbatterymode,theIHDwillautomaticallyturnthebacklightandlightarcoff

whentheIHDisinactive, toconservebatterylife.Thelightarcandbacklightwill

turnonmomentarilytoilluminatethescreenwhenabuttonispressed.

Powering Down

Topowerdown:

 pressandholdtherightbuttontoaccesstheConfigurationmenu,

 presstheleft(scrollsupthroughoptions)orrightbutton(scrollsdown

throughoptions)toscrollthroughthemenuoptions,

 selectthePowerOffoptionusingthemiddlebutton,and

 selectYes(using

leftbutton)toconfirmthatyouwishtoturntheIHD

off.


